October 2012 Cenpret was hired to install aluminium windows and sliding doors to enclose a large patio. Communication with the owner Mike had been regular and smooth in the months leading up to the installation.
He boasted about how strong and secure his product was and spoke of the reliability of the type of locking mechanism they used.
After a few months one sliding door and 1 window's locking mechanism became faulty and failed to latch closed.
After numerous emails, all which have been ignored and many calls, all but 2 have been ignored and never returned, I've been told that they will come in the next week (needless to say that didn't happen) and the latest response was that I should send him an email to remind him because they are so busy, (too busy to deal with a 10min job which also didn't receive a response) and the highlight of his latest verbal responses "All you can do is HOPE that we come out to do the repair"
Do they care that their product is not functioning 100%; or that the door/window doesn't lock; or that your safety is at risk = NO... their pockets have been filled
