We got xpanda to install a custom made security gate for a very big sliding door. When the door arrived (which was measured by rep/installer) it was to big for the sliding door height! They said they could not return it to the factory and proceeded to grind the entire door shorter!!! The pole lengths arent even the same length looks like a wave and the plastic inserts keeping it on the rail, falls out! If that wasnt enough, the side post into which the door locks, they installed incorrectly and had to reem the locking holes bigger. After trying to slam lock the door it wouldnt lock at all (the locks werent even catching), they continued to reem the lock mechanism with a drill and used pliers and a hammer to bend the locking fingers of the door so it locks. It only locks the bottom finger if you slam the door so hard that the entire house shakes!! When showing us the door the installer accidentally broke off the key in the lock and bent the entire locking mechanism.
Ive contacted xpanda head office, and they have not done anything in almost 7 months to assist!!!
We paid 12K for a security gate thats not even worth 1 cent.
Very Very unhappy with the service!!!
