An Electrical Compliance Certificate was requested from Arm Electrical and Plumbing.
They performed the Inspection and after the inspection said that they are not willing to issue a compliance certificate or let us know what work was required if any, until we pay them.
At this stage we hadn't received an Invoice. We then received an Invoice for close to R1, 000.00 - I made prompt payment.
Wesley then came back with a quote for work that was required to comply with electrical standards for over R12, 000.00 - I was more than surprised.
After contacting another Electrician all work required to comply with electrical standards was carried out and the Certificate was issued - This was at a cost of R1345.
Most of the items on Wesley's Quote were also on the other electricians work list - but how can the vast difference in Price be justified.
I post this message just as a word of caution when dealing with this company, steer clear or expect a very expensive experience.
