Since my last report of 15th September, James Mallon has appeared on site for 5 half days and tiled just 4m2 of the bathroom. In addition I have been informed that despite paying 75% of his quote AND a large sum for unquoted extras he would need additional money in order for him to finish the job. This is despite the fact that his quotation demands only 50% upfront and the balance on completion, never mind the fact that he is 12 weeks late.
After refusing to give a deadline for the job and refusing to continue unless he received more cash he took his ladder and has not been back for 2 weeks.
I am forced to find another builder.
