Their installer installed the shower wrong, he measured incorrectly. He returned, removed the glass, corrected HIS mistake, left a visible hole with a grey fisher plug in the shower & siliconed over that. When he siliconed the rest of the shower, he left thick messy silicon all over the marble tiles & grout, as well as on the porcelain floor tiles, on the sides of the glass he did not finish off properly, bumpy silicon.
Finally, he returned to try to clean up, he left rough edges (jagged edges), he scratched the marble tiles in his attempt to clean up mess, there were evident pieces of silicon pulled out because the silicon had not yet set.
Each occasion I informed Owner straight away I was unhappy, final straw contacted them but they politely informed me that this was "rude behavior " & that problems can be resolved, yes I agree but do they feel that an 1. incorrect installation, 2. an exposed hole in my marble tiles, 3. silicon messed over expensive tiles, unprofessionally done and finally a messy clean up plus the scratching of my marble tiles is fair on me the client? FYI: They charged for fittings I supplied, the owner removed from site and agreed to replace with others.
