A company that is definately NOT forward thinking

I purchased R2700 worth of wood and extras from Lumber City Durbanville on Saturday 29 June 2013. There was a litre of wood primer paint to the value of R108 that I had not used and I returned it on Monday 01 July 2013.
When I told them that I want to return the 1 litre of paint, the first thing they asked me was whether I am aware of the 10% handling fee policy on returns. I said no, I was never informed of this and I could not see any signs indicating it.
The service received was also very poor, as if they were doing me a favour by taking the product back - and charging me to do so as well.
In these challenging times, one would think that suppliers think out of the box and try their best to give great service and do their best to grow their market share. These people are chasing clients away.
After giving them turnover of R2700 and profit thereon, they want to charge me a fee to put a tin of paint back in stock during this day and age. Wake up people.
Thank you Lumber City, you will never see me again.
