I purchased Plascon Modo paint from builders warehouse. I had prepped the room by sanding down all the walls which I have always done when ever I do any painting, I cleaned all the walls down and then treated all the walls with bonding liquid. I applied the first coat of paint from a separate 1 litre tin and all was fine, a few days later I placed the second coat of paint on top from a new tin. Within minutes of applying the second coat the paint started to blister. I contacted builders warehouse who in turn handed the case on to Plascon. I contacted the call centre on numerous occasions and they finally sent a rep. I explained the situation to the rep who agreed to replace the paint with Plascon polvin. I was given instruction from Plascon to sand the walls down and paint the new paint Polvin on top and all should be good to go. I gave the rep some of the paint for testing in the lab which I later found out had spilled in her car so wasn't tested. The new paint is fine on the unpainted walls but blisters on top of the Plascon Modo paint. I have been told there is nothing wrong with the paint and they are not will to rectify these problems even though it is clearly faulty paint.
