Jenrick Doors were contracted to replace bearings in the garage door motor shafts at our home. Whilst they did repair the bearings in the motor, they damaged the garage door without advising us of the damage caused before they left the property. The damage was a deep bend in the top panel of one of the two doors. We requested the panel be replaced either with a good second hand panel to match the door or a new panel. Jenrick advised they would not replace the panel or door, and suggested what we considered as a solution to place a metal bar across the door to bend the door back in place. This would look unsightly and we have since had to replace both garage doors to ensure the matching thereof as the model door has been discontinued.
We have been in contact with them on numerous occasions (a minimum of 5 times) by email, fax and telephone requesting that the panel be replaced and the door restored to its initial condition prior to the work done. Jenrick have not responded to any of our communication after their initial undertaking to repair their damage by bending the door back in place with a metal beam.
