Tl Cupboards
Contractor to Standard Bank of SA-Insurance claim

1) Geyser burst with Ceiling destruction causing damages to existing cupboards and work area.
2) At the time, Standard Bank appointed TL Cupoards to remove all carpentry (Cupboards, work surfaces and drawer unit)
3) TL Cupoards arrived and were instructeed not to stand on work surfaces. This was ignored by them. Photo proof of their footprints
4) TL Cupboards completely destroyed the ADSL modem by dropping a wall mounted cupboard on it. They removed the modem and placed it on the breakfast bar. Photographic proof of damages & tread marks on counter tops.
5) Within hours of the damage we reported it to TL Cupboards. I personally lodged a telephonic complaint with the owner who agreed I replace it with the same and they'll reimburse it.
6) Claim sent to TL Cupboards. They ignored it. 3 weeks later, I sent a follow-up email. No response. I called them and was told that they did not break the modem.
7) Standardbank will be approached with a Complaint and legal action will be initiated.

BEWARE OF DEALING WITH THIS CROWD. THEY HIDE BEHIND STANDARD BANK AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PROPERTY. MY ADVICE IS TO OPT FOR A CLAIM PAYMENT AND SUPPORT A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY
