Absa
Claim nr. 2318047: Denise Human

My geyser burst Nov 2011. Was replaced. Lodge another claim, stove, oven and walls damaged. Was repaired. Lodged another claim in April 2012 for spacing between cupboards but I insisted that this was due to water retension on my wooden floors. They only replaiced the postform top. In all these cases had to pay R500 excess fees. (R1500) Should have been treated as one claim. jan 2013 lodge another complaint for extreme damage to kitchen wooden floors due to water retention, kitchen cupboards starting to collapse. Claim was rejected according to Absa in their opinion due to underground water table or pressure, no ventilation, claim exspired after one year. I have made myself very clear that all this happened due to the bursting of the geyser over my cupboards and wooden floors, but nobody is listening. Like always Absa try not to take responsibility for this although have paid over R370 000 for my insurance and only claimed for approximately R30 000. You pay all this money for nothing and nobody is listening. They should pay for the damages. My safety and bodily harm are at risk.
