At the end of March 2013 I contacted Active Glass (AG) to provide a quotation for a broken window in a unit that I am renting out and provided my contact details. This required AG (John) to contact my tenant to gain access to the unit to measure and provide a quotation. John never contacted my tenant, instead he sent one of his workers to look at the broken window from OUTSIDE the unit, without looking at what was properly required to do the job. The unit is on the 2nd floor and requires a ladder to get to the broken window, which was not used. After waiting 2 WEEKS I contacted John to ask where my quotation is, after huffing and puffing he eventally sent it through to me. I queried the cost of the repair as I had never paid that amount for a repair from AG before. With a nonchalant attitude John basically told me that was the price. Anyway, long story short, I contacted him again today after 4 WEEKS of silence mentioning that the job was not as complicated as previously quoted for, after I had spoken to the Estate. Again, price is the price with an attitude that he doesn't care about the job! Rather take your money elsewhere to a company who cares and is willing to work!
