POOR SERVICE AND PRODUCT QUALITY

I purchased a laptop in December for my mother. The spacebar on the keyboard has now stopped working. She contacted the repair centre in Midrand and was advised that it would take in excess of 10 working days to repair something as minor as the spacebar. My mother utilises the laptop for business purposes and can therefore not be without it for such a long period. She advised the agent that she would even be willing to take the laptop to Midrand so that they could look at it (she is in Centurion). She was advised yesterday morning that a manager, Francois van Zyl, would call her back in this regard. She has received no call from Francois and he has also not had the courtesy of responding to any of the phone messages which she has left for him. I am very disappointed in Acer. I will now think twice before I purchase any of their products again and will certainly advise others of the poor service experienced as well as the poor product quality.
