I bought a laptop in September last year and a month later it just froze, then kept switching itself on and off. I sent it for repairs at Incredible Solutions in Durban as advised. Three weeks later I got the laptop back and all was well. In March this year, the same problem started. Because I had lost my cellphone, I had to search on the Acer website for their number. The courier came and took it away. Apparently they took it directly to Acer in Johannesburg. A month down the line I call to ask of the progress. To my shock, the repair had been stopped because they say it had liquid damage. I am sure that if it did have liquid damage, as it was the same problem as before. I stay alone and I am the only user of that laptop. When I asked why I was never informed, I was told to drop the phone and wait for a call within ten minutes. I never recieved such. A week later I called and I was told that I refused paying the repair amount and the laptop would be sent to me within a week. Bear in mind, I was never sent the quotation, and never discussed paying for the damages. Ever since then, when ever I call I keep being told that it is being sent today. It has been well over 2 months now.
