My father bought me a laptop cooling stand for xmas and it broke yesterday (less than 3 weeks old).
Whilst my laptop was standing on it I opened my laptop and I heard something snap. It was the one leg on the stand.
My father went to return it today and he was told that it was "physical damage" and that they are unwilling to swap it for a new one nor will they give a refund. After getting the manager involved and arguing for about 5 min he eventually said that he will contact the supplier and find out if they are willing to replace it, but he doubt they will due to the "physical damage".
I know the damage is "physical" but surely a laptop cooling STAND should be able to withstand a laptop STANDING on it???
