Handed a faulty mobile (Samsung S2) in at Samsung on 22/10/13 & was told that I can expect 5 - 7 working days for repair/s to be done. After 3 wks, I had to make numerous calls upon which these people hardly ever return calls. I was eventually contacted by Rudolph who did the technical check and who also happens to be the manager, & I was told that the mother board, the battery as well as some little part that helps the mobile battery to charge, need to be replaced & that he will be ordering the part immediately. The following week I was told the very same thing - upon which I questioned his statement, by saying that I was told the same thing last week. He then said they only do bulk orders of Samsung parts (ha ha) but I wil have my phone repaired within five to seven days (ha ha once again!) The technical person quoted me R2500 for the 1 part ex vat, this whilst the phone is still under guarantee! I found to get in congruent messages from this repair centre. I had to sign a form stating that I have to pay R185 for data back up when I handed my phone in. I was told that the contacts are wiped off my phone and they don't take responsibility for lost data. Why not replace the phone
