Lenovo Service is almost as bad as HP

I am the Infrastructure manager at an insurance company in Johannesburg: we have switched to Lenovo as our mail laptop and desktop brand. I have a Lenovo laptop that has stopped operation due to a board fault.

I contacted Lenovo SA support as the machine is only a few months old and still under warranty. They informed me that the part was available in their store and the repairs should take two to five working days to complete. We took the laptop to Partserv and booked it in. 3 days later I had to call them for an update only to be informed the parts take 10 working days to arrive and that this is what Lenovo have indicated to them on their system.

I find the level of service Lenovo has given us is appalling and I will be changing my brand of Laptop and desktop throughout my entire company to DELL.
