I would like to bring to your attention the chain of events which took place at Benoni Citi Volkswagen when I purchased a "brand new" Volkswagen Amarok recently.
After asking the salesman to deliver the vehicle to my workplace where I inspected it with my colleagues we noticed traces of hail damage on the bonnet and left front fender. I work for a company in the panel beating industry so this we picked up quite easily. When the salesman opened my file which he had brought with him so I could sign the paperwork, I saw an invoice from a dent removal company for the removal of the hail on this vehicle. Naturally I freaked out and told them to cancel the deal but I was told by the Sales Manageress that this was not possible.
I feel that Benoni Citi should not benefit from my business as they have been dishonest from the start. I want the deal cancelled and I will purchase a vehicle elsewhere where integrity is still a value. Furthermore, I want other buyers to know what these people are capable of so that they can be more aware of what they are actually getting when they purchase a "new" vehicle, so I will take my story to the local press...
