Terrible Service / No Principles

I saw an advertisement on 30/01/14 for a vehicle for sale at Barloworld in Bluff, Durban. I was in contact with a salesman Dean Vellai who arranged a viewing for me on Saturday 01/02/14. On Saturday I contacted the salesman for the viewing, only to be told by him that the vehicle has gone for a valet. He however promised me that I could the vehicle on Monday 03/02/14, whereby he would bring it to my workplace. I called him on the Monday to make the arrangements for a time for the viewing, whereby he told me the vehicle is gone for an inspection and that the vehicle would be returning late in the day. He offered to wait in after normal working hours for me to view the vehicle, but I had a work appointment so I told him I would come in the morning on Tuesday 04/02/14. On my way to the dealership this morning, I was called by another salesman Sia, to be told the vehicle is sold provisionally to someone pending finance to one of the salesman's contacts without viewing. I was going to do a cash deal but where is the principle of the matter as I was promised to view the vehicle earlier and now its suddenly sold. Why was I not afforded that benefit?
