Hertz not giving back Deposit or Feedback

Hi. Okay Over Easter weekend we hired a Car from Hertz. The guy that we hired it from said that we had to pay R1000 deposit and once we return the car they will give it back. We returned the car on the morning of the last day. a Lady took it and then when I went into their store they told me it will be payed back to me and that I am free to go. Having a flight that day we didn't ask much questions and went into the Airport to catch our flight. Its been about 3 weeks now since then and I have not yet received the money. I sent them an email telling them about my problem and a "Michelle Labuschagne" replied telling me that she will get the info required with a attached invoice that they payed me back R42 for the deposit. She said she will get more info from the exact branch that we were at. As of yet i have not yet received any feedback. I really think it is very sloppy and that they can really handle this situation a bit more serious. I will never again use them and i am not happy at all with their level of service. They can even keep their money I don't think going through all this hassle is even worth what they owe me.
