My 2011 FJ Cruiser is @ Halfway Toyota for nearly 3 months to fix gearbox. And still no date set still waiting for parts from Overseas.
Halfway George told me that it is most likely that the gearbox manufacturer overseas do not have any stock of parts or new gearbox.
Thats the reason why I am waiting so long and they still do not have a confirmed delivery date for parts.
If this is true, I would recommend that people think again before purchasing a FJ Cruiser is their is a problem with the availability of Parts.
Received no feedback from Toyota SA or Halfway Toyota George.
