This morning at about 07:25 I went to the Total garage in Middelburg (On the cnr of Fontein and Cowen Ntuli) to purchase goodies at the shop of the garage. The cashier was Gert and he was really helpful and friendly- I also wanted to buy electricity, so because there ia a different paypoint for electricity Gert asked the other cashier named Poppy to please assist me. She just ignored him. I said "Excuse me, can you maybe help me please" and she just went on packing the cigarettes. Again I said "Sorry, can you please assist me? " Still I was being ignored- then to my amazement another customer came to buy electricity & she immediatly responded. When she eventually looked at me I told her that I was there first and the cashier Gert confirmed it.
She then took my money &helped the other customer first. Then she just placed the electricity slip on the table and went on packing. She didnt greet or asked how much elclectricity i wanted. Then I told her she was very unfriendly&rude but she just went on packing. Then I said I wanted to see the manager but only Gert responded and said he/she would be in this afternoon. Poppy is the rudest staff member ever! What a way to start your day:(
