Till 28 @ 9.30am Sunday morning...
go to pick n pay for the usual grocery run. get to cashiers, she tallies our total, and pushed everything through, i was so busy unpacking i didn't notice the packer has packed all our items into the trolley without even asking if we wanted or needed packets by the cashier, as normal. we had lots of small items so it would be obvious we needed the bags.
thereafter i had to request packets, the lethargic cashier handed us a few and did a total, we paid then my boyfriend and i had to start packing all our groceries into the packets, the cashier and packer looked on, no apology, no offer to assist.
we were in the way because of where we were packing so we had to move our trolley out and we stood there like packing our groceries nicely into packets. i really don't mind doing my own packing but to have to do it in the passage way while people are trying to get by & having your staff sit there and look like they are not paid to do it is rather abbreviating to say the least.
i normally shop at Woodmead because i live in Sunninghill but i would rather make the drive elsewhere to do grocery shopping from here on out. thanks
