On the 7th of Febuary I received a rental car as my insurance deals with Europcar. I gave them R750 cash on that day for a petrol deposit. On the 11th of March I received a call from Europcar saying the car is due back on that day and any more days I will be liable for. I then went to fill the car up with petrol and returned the car immediately. Up until today the 10th of April I have not received any funds back which I was told would take 3 working days. The reason for this is they said I am liable for 2 days and the car was not completely full with petrol. I was not informed that the car had to be back on the 9th of March and a note was made that on the day I got the car it was not completely full with petrol and I was advised to give the car back with the same amount of petrol as I received it which was done. They said that an amount of R81 some change was all that was due to me and I have not even received that. They also said that they did contact me but cannot give me a date, that is completely unacceptable. I expect and will fight for my full refund as I was not informed and it is not my fault!
