Our rental from Europcar expired on Wednesday the 20th of March. We prepared the car for collection by filling the car up with petrol. During the day on 20 March we contacted Europcar to determine what time the car would be collected. We were told that there was no one available to collect the car and that because the nezt day, Thursday 21 March, was a public holiday the car would only be collected on Friday 22 March. We have now been charged for an extra day's rental and after numerous phone calls to sort this out nothing has been done. This is unacceptable as it was at Europcar's request that the car be collected at a later date. This is a last resort as we have given Europcar enough time to rectify the situation and nothing has been done.
