Purchased a demo Audi A3 vehicle in January 2013 at Audi Mbombela had 27000km"s on clock drove it fro 2 months now on 30000km's, it is a 2012 model and the clutch plate burnt out on Saturday 06/04/13 and now i am told by the garage it is not covered in my maintenance place. What about garage guarantee, what if the vehicle had a mechanical problem prior to my purchase? It was a demo driven by audi employees for an entire year what if they drove this vehicle with negligence than to my luck after driving it for 2 months the clutch burns out! i am a qualified driver with a drivers license for many years who has driven a brand new vehicle prior to this Audi and i have never replaced a clutch. But for the records seems like i am not the only person who has had such an experience with the same type of Audi i know 2 males who have had to replace their clutches too after a few months and Audi said they can not cover. Now my question is does the Audi A3's have a mechanical error on the clutch that after a few months/year a client will always be responsible to replace his or her clutch plate, come on this is ridiculous i think Audi just needs to own up and take responsibility.
