I'm so cross with myself that I haven't met the people, I have recently met, before dealing with Schalk Hartzenberg. So many people are warning us NOW... a little bit too late. It all started on the 19th of December 2012 when my car was handed over to Schalk. He promised that he can have my race car (built for super saloons) ready by the end of January 2013 and gave us a list of things that he can do to the car. A deposit was paid so that he can order the suspension in the meantime. Beginning of Jan, i requested that he put all the mods in writing with the prices because it was such a big amount that he quoted. A 50% deposit was paid, of the R135k invoice. Every time we visited the premises, nothing has changed, the car is still in the exact same position since the beginning of Jan 2013. Lots of excuses and no action. We are currently still waiting for the car (today is the 1st of April 2013) The car has not raced this year and by the looks of things it wont be racing at all this year. We have requested that he show us the parts that he has bought up to date, we haven't seen any new parts AT ALL!!! Not even the parts that he was going to manufacture himself!!! Its bad, very very BAD
