I placed an order with Volkswagen Polokwane in August 2013 for TWO (2) Golf GTIs and they demanded a deposit of R30 000 for both vehicles. They promised delivery within 3 months after they receive the deposit. A deposit of R30 000 was given to them on 15th of August 2013.
They came up with many stories and uptil today no delivery. The funniest part is when the salesman Schalk Deysel told me they received the wrong vehicle from Germany, and on top of that he said but we do have a vehicle identicle to what you ordered but with 200km on it cos they had to drive it to our floor in Polokwane. Basically I told him to shove it
I have laid a complaint to Volkswagen South Africa and Gary Carlisle the manager at Volkswagen Polokwane on the 11th of December 2013 at 10:30am and have not received any response...
With regards to my personal expereience, Schalk Deysel and Wally Goosen don't deserve a job in South Africa. Their service is DISGUSTING!! YOU HAVE MY DEPOSIT FOR FOUR MONTHS NOW, WHERE ARE MY 2 VEHICLES? Can Volkswagen Germany query how on earth did Volkswagen Polokwane receive a white GTI with the EXACT SPECS as the one I ordered ending up with 200km which this Schalk wanted to sell me
