I put in a claim for hail damage through budget insurance mid November 2012. A booking was confirmed by sms with Renew It for 15 January 2013. On 14 January 2013, I phoned the number provided in the sms and they confirmed that my booking was still valid for the following day. On arrival on the 15th I was told that my booking has been moved to 25 January and that I was notified by sms. I never recieved the sms and they confirmed the 15th Jan over the phone, the day before!
So I have lost an hour of my day which is not cheap, petrol to drive two cars out there, the cost of the 2nd driver to drive out there and I have had to cancel arrangements made for a spare car while my car was being repaired.
Shocking customer service!
