My car broke this morning and for the first time since 2003, which was the initial commencement date, I utilized this service, only to find out the car I am currently driving for the last 5 years is not covered and they still had only the details of the vehicle covered in 2003.
I called the contact centre later this morning at 8:21am and spoke to Cristel, who issued the reference number: 42010, that someone from customer service would could me to explain what happened, but unfortunately no one called me back.
Cristel mentioned that when I bought my citroen in 2003 it included membership to club MCC and when I sold the vehicle in 2007, I should have informed McCarthy, as my current vehicle VW Polo, which was not bought at a Mc Dealership, is not covered by this membership.
I continued paying the monthly premium for the last 10 years for emergencies like this, because what I know of mechanical aspects of a car is scary, thus knowing that I am covered in the case of an emergency.
I said to her (Cristel), can I have a copy of the terms and conditions I signed to instruct me to change my details or stop the membership if I sold the car, no signed doc and no records.
