We were just in a shocking situation... After a braai with family close by we stopped at Total Eldoraigne to fill up our hilux as we were uncertain whether we would be able to reach our home in Centurion. When. We arrived the attendant checked with us how we were planning on paying for the petrol and we replied with a petrol card and he said its fine. After he filled up however he realised that their machines were online and that the transaction cant go through.. The attendant was clueless as to what to do next and gave us the managers number. The manager Ivan answered his phone.. We could hear he was in a bar somewhere and not happy.. We explained to him the situation and ask how he suggest we handle the situation as we cant pay as the machines are offline... His reply was you!! And he put the phone down in our ear!! Thats the way he treats people who want to make an arrangement to pay the next day!! I am truly appalled by the way we were treated and will make sure everybody knows the type of service you can expect.. So much for making payment arrangement.. Garages with a 24 hour service should not have drunk people on call.. Ivan really embarrasses Total. What a disgrace!!
