Damage to vehicle at service Station

This morning I stopped to fill up with petrol at the BP Service Station in Birdhaven where I always go to fill up with petrol. The petrol attendant filled my tank, washed my windscreen, processed my payment with the card machine, took my number plate down, said good bye and walked back into the shop. I started my engine and drove off, the petrol attendant had however not removed the petrol pump hose. I immediately stopped my car, the petrol attendant was nowhere in sight and his colleagues had to call him back. I was in a rush to get to work but waited for him and he came to my car and assessed the damage. He told me my car was not damaged, apologised and I rushed to work. As soon as I had a chance I checked my car and there is indeed damage, my car is scratched and the inner metal rim where the petrol cap screws on is buckled. I would direct this to a BP customer service system but I cannot find any contact details. Will BP customer care kindly advise what can be done to sort this problem out. Besides the damage to my car I am also very upset that the attendant saying there was no damage.
