Total South Africa
Overcharged

On 5 April 2013 I filled my tank at Total Garage Woodstock at 14h49. After the tank was filled I took a photo of the amount of what it costed to fill my car. The petrol attendant advised me that I would need to go into the store to pay as he did not have access to a card machine. I went into the store, paid and left.
The evening, I showed my fiance the slip of how much it cost to fill the tank. As per the photo I took, it showed that total cost was R627.25 which was 48.89 litres of petrol (which is normal as I have a 50lt tank). However, this is where it gets interesting, the lady behind the counter charged me R690 for my petrol...

1. When you throw in petrol and want to pay, you go into the store and give them the tank number and it comes onto the pc screens how much you through in... so how can she make a "mistake" of R62, 75?
2. When I went back and explained what happened, the lady assisting me was about to give me back the difference but then did not know how she would replace the cash again. I went when the owner was there and he says they cannot find the slip I signed and he would call me soon.

Guess what, I am STILL waiting!
