On 18 January I got involved in a car accident. My vehicle was towed and sent to Turbo Panel Beaters in Witbank, tel no. (013) 692 4046. I went to check it every week only to find that they are waiting for authorisation from my insurance company, Absa, tel 0860 106 237. According to Mr Martin Wiid, they only recieved authorisation on 31 January and they ordered vehicle parts, which they recieved on 07/02/2013.
Last week Wednesday on 13/02/2013 I went to check the car and was told it will be finished this week on Wednesday. I went there today only to find that it is still in the same condition as last week, the only thing they did is to cover it with a huge plastic and put it aside. Yesterday I called and was told it is finished and waiting for respray, and today they told me the same thing.
I called Absa insurance and spoke to Duwaine who told me Sabela will call me back, up until now Im still waiting for that call.
I started to use the rental car on 22/01/2013 and tomorrow I have to return the car to the renters. Im in a big problem now because I use a car everyday to take my kids to and from school. Please help me. Patricia Mgwenya. My insurance claim no is 2319945.
