Delay in refund

I rented a car with Europ Car on the 08th of February 2013, paid a deposit of R2000 which i was suppose to have received back from them 3 to 4 days after i returned the car. It has now been a week and still nothing, when i called this afternoon i spoke to David who was rather rude, told me that i have to wait a week and not a week from the day the car was returned but a week from the day they (Europcar) processed the reversal of funds. I told him that it was unacceptable as i was not advised of this and David said, "you can take it up with the guy who gave you the car" and went further to say, it's not with us anymore its with the bank. I find that attitude completly unacceptable, i'm the client and its my money that i was enquiring about, i should have gotten an apology and told what the actual process is. I'm utterly disappointed and needless to say that i will never use their service ever again.
