I poured R100 petrol today between 14h45 and 14h50 at Brongerg Shell garage. When I left the tank hadn't moved. R50 moves the gauge (digital gauge). Out of concern that the attendant hadn't poured I went back to the garage. Manager showed me a grainy video as "proof" that petrol had been poured. When I asked for transactional proof that I had poured, he told me to come back tomorrow as he was busy. He also told me that he trusts his attendants (meaning I was the). I work in JHB, so when I got to work I called him to tell him that the tank that he said wasn't responding, was definitely responding downwards. Since I was on the phone as petrol was being filled, he told me: "next time you should watch attendant rather than be on the phone". Very angry at manager especially, because he totally showed me that he and Shell just do not care.
