I stopped at this garage and requested to have R400.00 worth of petrol to be filled into my car, then walked into their convenience store. When I came out gave R400.00 cash to the attendant and started the car. As I made a U-turn to drive away, I notice that the petrol gauge is still at the same level as when I arrived. Then I called the attendant to ask if the petrol was filled, then he said he did.
I then showed him the gauge and he said it will as I drive off. I asked him to call his manager and elaborated what has transpired, he also said the petrol gauge will record later. I asked for the slip, and the one that was printed showed two pumps; the one I was supposedly poured petrol and the one behind me. The manager said I must just go and the petrol gauge will show that there was petrol poured at a later stage, and he and his attendants found my complaint amusing and they were laughing at me.
I drove off to work and it still didn't show anything.
