DEPOSIT NOT PAID ON MY CREDIT CARD

I rented a vehicle from 23rd dec - 05 Jan. Returned it with no damages, full tank fuel at the exact time as per contract. Staff told me deposit will be paid after 3 days. after a week, I called, lines too busy and the answering machine suggested I email. I have sent the email same day, then after a week of no response, I called again. The agent apologised and promised to get back to me. till today no one has replied me. Please help.
