I MADE AN ENQUIRY FOR SOME PARTS WITH YOUR ETHEKWINI BRANCH AND WAS GIVEN A PRICE OF R4.95 EACH. THE BRANCH DID NOT HAVE STOCK BUT I WAS TOLD THAT SPRINGFIELD HAD 12 OF THEM. UPON GETTING TO THE SPRINGFIELD BRANCH THEY ONLY HAD 10 (INCORRECT STOCK LEVELS) AND NOW THE PRICE WAS R9.20 EACH. MY WIFE HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE PRICE DISCREPANCY AND SO SHE TOOK IT. I WANT TO KNOW WHY THE PRICE DISCREPANCY AND HOW MANY BRANCHES MUST I PHONE TO GET THE CORRECT PRICE? I DID NOT GO TO ABC MOTOR SPARES BUT I WENT TO HYUNDAI ITSELF, I EXPECTED THE SERVICE TO BE SAME FOR ALL BRANCHES THATS WHY I DID NOT COMMIT MYSELF TO ETHEKWINI BRANCH BUT RATHER OPTED TO DRIVE WAY OUT TO SRPINGFIELD TO GET WHAT I NEEDED ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT HYUNDAI SERVICE VARIES FROM BRANCH TO BRANCH. IS THAT THE WAY YOUR VEHICLES ARE ALSO MADE, SOME GOOD AND SOME BAD? IS THERE ANY CONSISTENCY THAT I CAN DEPEND ON?
To date they have not contacted me and when they do they are going something to the following effect. "Each dealer is independent as a franchise etc"... well so what, you are not the first franchise, we have KFC, Nandos, Mr Price etc, all franchises but prices are same throughout all their branches.
