Expensive pathetic incompetent: Waybill 2520133722

30 December 2013 a document was sent for next day deliver from Johannesburg to Mkhuhlu in Mpumalanga, it is now 03 January 2014 and the package is still nowhere to be found. we have made a million and one long phonecalls to track and get an update on the EXPENSIVE deliver, and each time we are told "the package is with the contracted courier, we will phone you back" before the call is cut off! needless to say noone phones back. after walking back into DHL, we suddenly receive a call saying the package is in Nelspruit and could not be delivered because 1. the address was difficult, 2. DHL does not do next day service to the area on address. 3. they will ONLY ATTEMPT a delivery on 7 January 2014! Why the did DHL accept the package and payment for next day delivery if they DO NOT give such service? Had we not walked into DHL again, how long were they going to keep the package without informing the sender or receiver of the "incomplete" address? Why is DHL in the courier business if they cannot courier? why take on work that is clearly out of scope for them? pherhaps it is time for DHL to try other business avenues because the courier business is beyond and above their scope!!
