I was Charged a large deposit for renting a small Ford Fiesta of R6000.Budget put the R6000 through twice and it took me 30min to get it reimbursed while on my holiday as R12000 had now been deducted.
12 days after returning the car i am still waiting for my deposit back and was double charged AGAIN instead of being refunded. This caused my credit card to be declined embarrassingly at Woolworths for insufficient funds which has NEVER happened to me before.
After calling and complaining i was told this is impossible!
I then received a message back saying that they HAD made the mistake and charged me AGAIN the R6000 instead of refunding me and that it would take until the 4th of January to be reimbursed.
This is unacceptable on all counts!
