I rented a car from Budget at the Durban branch at King Shaka International Airport.
There was an amount of R5000 which was held on my credit card. The car was returned on 2013/06/18. The cost of the rental has been charged to my credit card. However, the deposit of R5000 was not released based on what I could see on my credit card statement. I had to call my bank on 2013-06-26 to get it released. I realized this problem when my credit card was declined when I tried to purchase something. This was frustrating and caused me unnecessary inconvenience.
