I have had an bad experience with Pickfords.
They arrived at the house to collect all household furniture, only to see with a suprise that the truck is to small.
A list was given to them with all the goods in the house. Another list was given to them with only the changes to the original list. They calculated the volumes to be collected only form the changed list and charged me x for it where a bigger truck would have costed Y.
they are willing to listen as it is the customers fault. they are willing to collect the other goods unless i pay them another X amount.
I am so frustrated as tyou have to budget for a move off 600 km and it si not cheap. Who has got the X amount just laying around to be given to them for there mistakes. They should be held accountable for what they offer. Perphaps they should send repesentives to the houses to access the godds as othe rmoving companies do.
