I logged a call yesterday (2013/12/08) at approx. 09:50 via the AA call centre. I hit a pothole whilst driving on the R511 (near Hartebeespoort dam), the tyre and rim was damaged as a result.
I phoned the AA and requested two things:
1. A security guard as I was alone and stranded next to the road
2. Someone to assist me in assessing the damage and change the tyre.
It is almost 24 hours later and no one from the AA or the security company came to the scene. Had it not been for me asking a passer-by to assist, my car would still be there.
My membership allows for all the VAS and yet when I engage with the AA and request these services, no response is received.
