Ever since my incident, my husband and I have been trying to contact someone at the call centre and we cannot get a single person on the line.
On 27 June 2013, at around 19h00, returning from swimming with my children, I came around the corner and destroyed my tyre in what turned out to be a pothole filled with water on Main Avenue in Randburg, opposite the Ferndale shopping centre.
I was absolutely fortunate that my husband was with me and had not left for his trip overseas. He managed to change the tyre otherwise I was alone with a 5 and 2 year old to change the tyre.
I would like to know who exactly is going to cover the damages to my tyre as well as the alignment of my car that is now off after crashing into the hole as I certainly am not going to be taking responsibility for the council's negligence!!!
I demand that someone contact me to sort this out as a matter of urgency!!!
