I have replaced all the tyres on my car at own cost about 4. weeks ago. The day before yesterday I was taking my daughter to a dentist in Vereeniging. It was raining heavily and the roads were covered with water. I hit a pothole that I could not see due to water covering it and damaged the rear right tyre. I could not get any reply at the MiWay call centre and could therefore get no assistance. Nobody stopped to assist me either and I had to drive to the nearest garage, damaging the wheel and tyre even further. The petrol attendants assisted me in putting on the spare. Since then I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to get hold of a MiWay agent to assist me. Yesterday, while I was in the bath, an agent with the name of Shana called and left a message for me to call her back. I have tried to do so since and just get an answering service - on which I have left numerous messages. Due to my spare not being used for a long time, it went flat yesterday as well. I am now stuck at home and can't even get the tyre fixed. I have never claimed from Miway before and am extremely disappointedequired to in their service. Am I now to pay for the damage because I could not get through to them?
