I bought a 2011 Golf 6 GTI from SMT Motors Randburg with no drivers side matt in the vehicle. SMT Motors promised to find the cars original matt and replace it as it must have been mislaid at the car wash.
3 months down the line they have still have'nt given me the drivers side matt, and are unwilling to purchase a new matt for the car or replace it. Craig from SMT Motors had a very arrogant attitude regarding this. They are like true used car sales men, once they have your money and the car is off their hands, there is no recourse to attend to your problems or after-sales service, once the deal is done.
Thank goodness my problem was just with a drivers side floor matt, and nothing major, I can just imagine what problems I would have with them.
I will definitely not be buying any more cars from this used car dealership.
