I am disgusted with the service received from Eagle Corner. On at least three separate service intervals I have notified Ford of my airbag light illuminating on the dash. At every service the response is that it is simply a fault with the light and the airbag is perfectly safe and will deploy if required. This is yet to be fixed as they never stock the part to fix the light and it will be attended to at the next service.
I have now possibly been driving the car for close on 80000 km with the light on and now at my latest service, they notify me that there is a fault with the sensors and the airbag will not deploy. The sensors will need to be replaced. Whilst I was still under warranty it was never a problem, but now that I am out of warranty, "it is a costly repair". My main concern is that fact that I have been driving around with a faulty airbag all along whilst told by Ford themselves that it is perfectly safe. Nice to know they work like this. Unbelievable.
