Airbag not deployed.
I'm really disappointed in the mazda3 dynamic that I bought from ford/mazda silver lakes. I had an accident and not a single airbag deployed. I find it ludicrous that the damage to the car surmount to R 80000, implying it wasn't just a scratch, while none of the standard safety features functioned... and yes I did wear my safety belt. At the panel beaters I was also informed that they don't understand why the airbags did not deploy. Why would someone be paying so much money for a car when its safety is equivalent to that of a donkey cart? I want to know why the airbags did not deploy and I would also like to know if the car has been in an accident previous to my accident.
Ford/mazda also awes me a key and they have to fix the cubby as per sales agreement. This was longer than a year ago and I keep on hearing excuses as to why it hasn't been done yet. So now I'm sitting with a smashed up car a year later and you did not fulfil your part of the sales agreement.
I have always found mazda reliable, but I'm starting to believe I have placed too much confidence in your company.
