I had purchased a Kia 2nd hand vehicle - 11 months old and 46km on the clock from VW Stijdom Park (Mastercars). Two days after taking ownership - I realised that the whole undercarridge was rusted. We took it back to VW immediately who refused to refund or take the vehicle back. The Dekra AA report says the vehicle is checked for rust and has passed all the tests " hmmm I wonder if their technicians are blind! " yet a report from Kia shows parts are severly rusted and even broken off and needs to be replaced. To this day the sales manager or principle of the dealership has not called me to apoligise. After contacting the heavy jitters at mastercars the vehicle was accepted back by the dealership today. Lawyers are involved and Im all geared to act upon the Consumer Protection ACt - Still its so scary that a company that you think is reputable - VW - turns out to be one thats selling damaged and defective goods - Public beware!!! All the bells and whistles are promised during the sale but as soon as you pick up their defects - they become defensive and it turns ugly quick!!! Im so disappointed in this branch and the name VW will forever be tainted in my eyes!!!
