Bought a VW Jetta 5 in 2009 from Lindsay Saker Vereeniging Mastercars, I was told by the sales consultant that these vehicles are 100% guaranteed by VW and definitely accident free. Now after 3, 5 years of owning the vehicle the intercooler had to be replaced (done by a different dealership) and I was told that this is due to an earlier accident the vehicle was involved in. In my three and a half years of owning the vehicle it was NEVER involved in an accident and serviced as prescribed by the manufacturer. VW SA was sort of helpful in trying to solve the issue, but I was told that this is the dealerships responsibility. The dealership is denying responsibility - saying that the vehicle files are clean and that the time since purchase has been too long. REALLY? Be careful when buying Mastercars, especially from Lindsay Saker VEREENIGING. Time since purchase too long? Get real... I'm sitting with a vehicle that has three major dents on the inside of the bumper that YOU sold to me, don't care what the time since purchase was. Lindsay Saker VEREENIGING you are useless and I will let everybody know what kind of operation you run!
